Mmmmmm...I'm not sure why I like this piece so much. I guess because the mane and expression, and for once it's not a wild-canine species. :9
This piece is quite old (in my view), but I still love the idea of giving God the allegory of a lion. And though quite simple, I still adore the background and the grass ---- As put by ~greatwizardhowl: "Hm, that's an very interesting way to view things. I too have no direct religion, but I do try to teach myself all I can in Shamanism, and I tend to worship Shiva, since he both can create things into life and destory them. I see your belief comes through this beautifully and this picutre is fabulous. Congrats." Thanks

"God Almighty" -Essay-Religion consists of a set of things the average man thinks he believes and wishes he was certain. - Mark Twain. When I was younger, I imagined God as a bald; tan male-being, dressed in a maroon velvet-robe. His wrists wrapped in golden cuffs, such as the Romans would wear. He also wore earrings that were studded with jewels. In most of my visions of him, he would be flying around in the clouds, joyful, laughing along the way. His ivory-white teeth especially gleaming against his tan skin, his dark eyebrows relaxed. I eventually asked my dad if this is what God looked like, and I remember him especially chu"God Almighty" -Essay-

My name is Simone S. C./"Momo". I'm sometimes an asshole and/or bitch. Usually only when I rant. HOPE THAT DOESN'T BOTHER YOU. Um, when it comes to personality I'm usually a "happy" person. When it comes to my views on romance I'm a HOPELESS-ROMANTIC COUPLE-STALKER. And I often support couples that have no solid evidence ("Arthur x Francine" is one for example...unless you count the books), but they've still had "romantic" moments. When it comes to romance-scenes in movies, I'm a BEOTCH for the ones where the upcoming couple are arguing, then they stop and look at each other with furrowed eyebrows and eyes full of rage. But then it quickly switches over and they start making-out with/kissing each other. That's probably too descriptive for some people. Oh well. Get used to my over-describtive-ness When it comes to what I like to draw: animals, mainly. Because most of the humans I draw come out as shameful "animu"/manga humans. But on rare occassions I do draw cool un-"animu"/manga humans, yet I never seem to upload them. My interests vary greatly, but I'm not sure that would make me count myself as a "well-rounded individual". But all I'm saying is it really makes me lulz about how WIDE my interests stretch My all-time favorite movie is The King and I. Because it rocks. Seriously. Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr were amazing. Yeah, I know it has all these facts wrong about Thailand (then Siam), but I'm not one of those naïve girls who believes everything they see/hear. (No, I'm not saying that makes me "special", I mean, not many people on this site are "close-minded"/"naïve".) For anyone wondering, I live in a suburban-ghetto and there have been about 2 drive-bys next door to where I live. Have fun thinking about that
